Description
In “Destination Moon,” the story begins when Tintin and his friends are recruited by the eccentric scientist Professor Calculus to join a secretive space expedition to the Moon. The aim of the mission is to prove that space travel is possible and to beat the United States and the Soviet Union in the race to reach the Moon.
Throughout the adventure, Tintin and his companions face various challenges, including technical difficulties, sabotage attempts, and the perilous environment of space. The story combines elements of science fiction, humor, and suspense, which are characteristic of Hergé’s storytelling style.
