“The Living Daylights” features James Bond on a mission to protect a Soviet sniper who wants to defect to the West. Bond must ensure her safe passage while dealing with various dangers and challenges along the way.

These stories were later adapted into the 13th James Bond film, “Octopussy,” released in 1983, which combined elements from both stories. The film starred Roger Moore as James Bond.
