Leo Tolstoy, is a writer from heaven. This book is very good. But i personally recommend to go for more authentic translation.

  2. Sandeep Sharma (Verified Purchase)

Everything is good except the size of the book, its bit big and heavy, and not sort of the one that we can easily hold on the way out, so probably you can only stick around it at home.
As for the quality, the printing is really good but its kind of a tender at the base, i guess its not good for such a huge book it is bending down all the way while you hold it. But it okay! you can live with such a great content inside.

  3. Yanbeni Humtsoe (Verified Purchase)

I would have given five stars for the novel itself. It is a decent translation, the typeset could have been of a bigger size.

  4. Peter lawrence (Verified Purchase)

Product’s design and condition were excellent. This book will definitely change your perception towards the society and precisely about the war. It touches one of the most radical pages of the history. Though it is a long one but Tolstoy binds you by the deep description and vivid literary caricature. Worth getting such a lucid translation at this low price. It’s a steal.

  5. Shivkumar Kanthale (Verified Purchase)

What I have heard about this book, all have been proved right. This book is really a piece of art. Love it.
