Description

A gripping spy thriller set at an addictive pace, from bestselling author, Jeffrey Archer. Connor Fitzgerald is the professional’s professional. Holder of the Medal of Honour. Devoted family man. The CIA’s most deadly weapon. But for twenty-eight years, he has been leading a double life. And only days from his retirement, he comes across an enemy even he cannot handle. The enemy is his own boss. And she has only one purpose: to destroy him. Meanwhile, the United States is faced with an equally formidable foe: a new Russian President, determined to force a military confrontation between the two superpowers. Ranging from the Oval Office in the White House to a Russian Mafia boss’s luxurious hideaway outside St Petersburg, The Eleventh Commandment sets new standards in contemporary thriller writing. Jeffrey Archer scoops his readers up in the first paragraph, and doesn’t let them go until the last. The pace, the ingenuity, the twists, intertwined with a moving love story, show Britain’s bestselling writer at the peak of his page-turning powers.

A gripping story line way different from Jeffery Archer other books.I really liked the book.Would recommend it to abid book readers

  2. Navinkumar Gujeri (Verified Purchase)

Good story, but not one of his best. I still enjoyed it though and it has a nice twist at the end.

  3. Brajesh Roy (Verified Purchase)

Good flowing novel. I find Archer sometimes skips parts of a story line in his books as if he cannot be bothered to tie up loose ends. Not guilty of this in this book hence 5 stars. Has shades of David Baldacci in this plot with a special agent at odds with the Director and a fake burial at Arlington.

  4. Akanksha Shrivastava (Verified Purchase)

It’s been a few years since I read a Jeffrey Archer book, I’d forgotten how good an author he is. Great book well written. Will catch up on some of his others. Been reading a lot of James Patterson recently. Will return to Jeffrey Archer now. Would recommend.

  5. Daniel Vijay (Verified Purchase)

Another excellent read from the pen of Mr Archer. Intriguing plot which holds you fast. Unputdownable. Each chapter keep you wanting more. Highly recommended.
