About the Author: Jawaharlal Nehru Jawaharlal Nehru was born on November 14, 1889 in Allahabad,Uttar Pradesh. He has written books like the Glimpses Of WorldHistory and Letters From A Father To His Daughter. He earned adegree in natural science from the Trinity College, Cambridge. Healso studied at the Inns of Court School of Law in London toqualify as a barrister. Nehru returned to India and played a vitalrole in India’s struggle for Independence along with Mahatma Gandhiand became the first Prime Minister of Free India. He died on May27, 1964.
