Description

One cold night, in a most unlikely corner of Chicago, teenager Will Grayson crosses paths with. “Will Grayson”! Two teens with the same name who run in two very different circles suddenly find their lives going in new and unexpected directions. Culminating in epic turns-of-heart on both of their parts, they team up to produce the most fabulous musical ever to grace the high-school stage. Told in alternating voices from two award-winning, popular names in young-adult fiction – John Green (author of “The Fault in Our Stars”) and David Levithan (author of “Boy Meets Boy”) – this unique collaborative novel features a double helping of the heart and humour that has won both authors legions of fans. John Green has a huge online presence through his 1.1 million Twitter followers and YouTube channel Vlogbrothers, which has been viewed over 200 million times and has 660,000 subscribers, making it one of the most successful online channels in history. This is a Penguin logo edition.

There’s a finite combination of words in any language and I can’t tell how much I love this in any of them.

  2. Debajit Das (Verified Purchase)

My first LGBT book and I enjoyed it. It was heart breaking, sad, funny basically a mix of everything.

  3. Aadesh Molagi (Verified Purchase)

I’m not even sure how to describe this. Half the time I was like, what am I reading? But in a good way, promise. It was good, it was fun, it was fabulously gay. Can I have a Tiny Cooper in my please?

This is one of the most unique books I’ve come across – there are two guys with the same name (Will Grason), which neither knows about, yet their paths cross in a very unpredictable way. The book is written very creatively – one chapter will be about Will Grason, and the next chapter is about the other will grason – and they are written in different styles. One of the Will’s writes grammatically correct while the other is in all lower case and uses a different style of narration really adding to the depth of the characters.

  5. RUDHIR KAKOTI (Verified Purchase)

This book is hilarious! The stories of both Will Grayson have a whit and charm that makes you keep reading even when the language is bad. Both John Green and David Levithan are very gifted writers who write about everyday life people who can truly be related to. It’s not just the humor that makes this book so good, but also the heart-felt story of friendship and other important relationships that is buried underneath it all. Very good book, I strongly recommend it for mature teenagers and adults, any younger than about 16 should wait a few years to read it.
