Typical Jeffrey Archer, witty, full of suspense and easy, joyful reading! I read many other author’s works but it is always a joy to return to Jeffrey Archer because you’re guaranteed an excellent story page after page and, in this case, twelve stories!

I was fascinated by some of the short stories, though not all. Some of them are difficut to understand and some of them ends in an unexplained way. Still many of the stories ended with a twist. Overall the book was great and taught me cultures and habits of different people belonging to different countries.

if you like short stories then you will love this book, some clever and interesting stories in this one, also the last story has 4 different endings on it, and you had to pick which one you would prefer, of course you are compelled to read all 4 endings, well i was anyway, plus i think this is the book he wrote while he was in prison himself, but i might be wrong on that (more research needed sorry)well the very 1st story i thought was about him or based on his experience in there. a very clever and interesting book.

As always, every story is unique. Each story engrosses you till the end. Every story has a different type of ending, but very surprising as usual… The formation & development of each story is done so amazingly that it pulls you into continuing pages after pages until it ends suddenly. There is never a dull moment.
This is the 2nd collection of Jeffrey Archer stories that I read after “Cat On Nine Tales” and I am thirsty for more!!!!
