Description

“The Seven Crystal Balls” (French: “Les Sept Boules de Cristal”) is the thirteenth volume in the popular comic book series “The Adventures of Tintin,” created by the Belgian cartoonist Hergé. This album was first serialized in 1943 and 1944 in the Belgian newspaper Le Soir, but it was not published in book form until 1948.

In “The Seven Crystal Balls,” the story begins with a series of mysterious and eerie events. Several members of an archaeology expedition, including Professor Calculus, have fallen into inexplicable comas after opening the tomb of the Incan mummy Rascar Capac. As Tintin investigates, he discovers that these strange occurrences are linked to an ancient curse, and he sets out to uncover the truth behind the curse and find a way to break it.

The album combines elements of adventure, mystery, and the supernatural, and it is known for its engaging storyline and well-drawn characters. “The Seven Crystal Balls” is often considered one of the classic Tintin adventures and is part of a two-part story, with the sequel being “Prisoners of the Sun.”

Hergé’s Tintin series has been beloved by readers of all ages for its timeless storytelling, well-researched adventures, and memorable characters.
