Description
“The History of Alexander” is a work attributed to Quintus Curtius Rufus, a Roman historian believed to have lived during the 1st century AD. The text is a biography of Alexander the Great, the legendary Macedonian king who conquered much of the known world in the 4th century BC. Quintus Curtius Rufus’s work provides valuable insights into the life, conquests, and character of Alexander, though it is not considered as comprehensive as some other ancient sources like those of Arrian, Plutarch, and Diodorus Siculus. Nonetheless, “The History of Alexander” remains an important historical source for understanding one of the most influential figures in ancient history.
