Description

Really great suspense novel. Kept me up most of the night. The alcoholic narrator is dead perfect’ STEPHEN KING

Rachel catches the same commuter train every morning. She knows it will wait at the same signal each time, overlooking a row of back gardens. She’s even started to feel like she knows the people who live in one of the houses. ‘Jess and Jason’, she calls them. Their life – as she sees it – is perfect. If only Rachel could be that happy.

And then she sees something shocking. It’s only a minute until the train moves on, but it’s enough.

Now everything’s changed. Now Rachel has a chance to become a part of the lives she’s only watched from afar.

Now they’ll see; she’s much more than just the girl on the train…”

  1. HARDIK VARSHNEY (Verified Purchase)

I liked the book, not too good but yes it’s a good read, only thing is I felt a bit disappointed with the last part of the novel. I had expected much more, considering the book people speak so good about. But you can definitely read it once, just once. Generally if I love book, I read it multiple times.

  2. Jefin Joseph (Verified Purchase)

It is not written as an intense suspense narrative with accelerated pacing and should not be compared with such. It is written more like a jigsaw puzzle with the pieces to the puzzle locked inside the seemingly blackout mind of the “Girl on the Train”. For a satisfying literary and emotional experience and challenge, I highly recommend this book.

  3. Vasanth Raj (Verified Purchase)

I really liked this book…. it just keep you stuck till the end….i liked the kind of suspense it created…. it is my first suspense book and I’m not at all disappointed

  4. Jyotiprakash Sahoo (Verified Purchase)

I read this book in one sitting. Now I know this book has been compared to other dark suspense novels, but this holds it’s own. The story hooked me in pretty much from the beginning, and I could not put it down. I went into this story with an open mind – knowing it was a psychological thriller. What I wasn’t prepared for was the mind-games it would lead me through – and now I can’t even explain it properly without spoiling the entire novel.

  5. Lavi Chaudhary (Verified Purchase)

Psychological thriller or so it claims. Overall its a good entertaining read. But you will soon be tired of the author, as its easy to predict even before she reveals things. The 4 stars are for the entertaining start which gets sloppy soon after a few pages.
