Description

On a dark, silvery moonlit night, Sophie is snatched from her bed by a giant. Luckily it is the Big Friendly Giant, the BFG, who only eats snozzcumbers and glugs frobscottle. But there are other giants in Giant Country. Fifty foot brutes who gallop far and wide every night to find human beans to eat. Can Sophie and her friend the BFG stop them? Let’s hope so – otherwise the next child a gruesome giant guzzles could be YOU. Also look out for new Roald Dahl apps in the App store and Google Play- including the disgusting TWIT OR MISS! and HOUSE OF TWITS inspired by the revolting Twits.

3 reviews for The BFG (Dahl Fiction)

  1. Subhojit Madina

A good read for 10 year olds to adult. My grandson and I both enjoyed this one very much. If you want to do something fun this summer, read with your children or grandchildren and then have a book club meeting and talk about the book. It is fun for the whole family, and this book is good for both boys and girls. It is a quick read and well worth your time. Have a great summer and happy ready to you and yours!

  2. K S JISHNU

Truly enjoyed the book although it took a little getting used to the giant’s language. Once I got the hang of it, it was quite entertaining.

  3. SOUTICK SAMANTA

One of the best kids’ books ever written. The BFG is a lovely creature whose demeanor and presence validates young readers’ fears without pandering or being overly scary. Dahl had a great eye for the ludicrous in the world and invites kids in on the ridiculousness.
