Description

Gideon Cross. As beautiful and flawless on the outside as he was damaged and tormented on the inside. He was a bright, scorching flame that singed me with the darkest of pleasures. I couldn’t stay away. I didn’t want to. He was my addiction my every desire mine. My past was as violent as his, and I was just as broken. We’d never work. It was too hard, too painful, except when it was perfect. Those moments when the driving hunger and desperate love were the most exquisite insanity. We were bound by our need. And our passion would take us beyond our limits to the sweetest, sharpest edge of obsession.

As I expected after reading the first book – it’s easy reading, and there is a kinda story to it. There’s not really much I can offer outside of the synopsis. I thought the ending was better than book 1. And yes, I will read book 3 🙂

I was a bit sceptical after reading Fifty Shades of Grey thatthis book would come anywhere close to it – I have to say although I did not fall in love with the Giddeon Cross character as I did with Christian Grey, I found the book much better reading, the sexy bits were excellent and much more of a normal sexual appetite than Fifty Shades. The story is gripping and I although I could not wait to get to the end to find out what happens I was also sad that it had come to an end!

Wow what an amazing second book!!! I thoroughly enjoyed bared to you and it just got even better in 2nd book. Read it twice now and could quite happily read it again 🙂

Just because his body is good and he does it well, doesn’t mean he can do what he wants. I found this book quite the cliche of old romantic movie when the woman could do anything but succumb to this will, eating up to the crumbs left on the table. Pathetic.

I finished this book last night, read into the early hours. Once again, the brilliant Sylvia Day has done it again and wrote a book which I just cannot put down and even though I know I have a early start, the book makes me forget everything and I just have to continue reading.
