Description

With these words echoing in his head, eminent Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon awakes in a hospital bed with no recollection of where he is or how he got there. Nor can he explain the origin of the macabre object that is found hidden in his belongings. A threat to his life will propel him and a young doctor, Sienna Brooks, into a breakneck chase across the city of Florence. Only Langdon’s knowledge of hidden passageways and ancient secrets that lie behind its historic facade can save them from the clutches of their unknown pursuers. With only a few lines from Dante’s dark and epic masterpiece, The Inferno, to guide them, they must decipher a sequence of codes buried deep within some of the most celebrated artefacts of the Renaissance – sculptures, paintings, buildings – to find the answers to a puzzle which may, or may not, help them save the world from a terrifying threat. Set against an extraordinary landscape inspired by one of history’s most ominous literary classics, Inferno is Dan Brown’s most compelling and thought-provoking novel yet, a breathless race-against-time thriller that will grab you from page one and not let you go until you close the book.

Another thriller from the master story teller. Though I feel this was written keeping in mind it was soon going to be made into a movie. Langdon delves into different territory with this novel. It’s more of a biological thriller on the lines of Robin Cook. One time read. But not on the same pedestal as Da Vinci code.

This is a wonderful novel by Dan Brown, the latest in Robert Langdon series. An eye-catching cover. And a wonderful story. It is a must read. As for the delivery, it was on time, no delay. The book condition was perfect and was packed properly so the book doesn’t get damaged.

Dan Brown has always been known for writing novels based on Christianity. But this one is not the typical Dan Brown novel. It is based on a real time problem we people are facing in the world-Overpopulation. And we all know how marvelous Dan Brown is in relating a current story to a historic one. This time, he relates the story with 15th century, world renowned poet-Dante.

ordered a second hand hardcover and received it in a surprisingly good condition. no issues of any sort except the cover was a little bent but then again, it was a second hand and so a little deformities were expected, other than that i had no issues. i think the price was quite reasonable for the product that i received. so, i would say that i am pretty happy with what i got.

The word goes out that this book is beyond thrilling, from the first page you are gripped with the amazing narration and adventures of Robert Langdon. Really a must read if you are a fan of thrillers from Dan Brown, or if you want to fall in love with Robert Langdon.
As for the quality of the product, its a decent paper back and good enough prints. I haven’t found any missing pages or errors or any defects. So totally recommended buy.
